UrLifeTrax allows users to plan a trip based on preset locations by leveraging  SMS, social media and email to send updates and alerts. My goal was to help them deliver an engaging user experience for this amazing trip planning and alert app.

This was a very interesting problem to solve as we needed to consider a demographic who spent most of their time outside and would likely be using the application in active conditions: boaters and boat captains. Empathy was key on this project as we needed to consider their perspective.

We needed to create something that looked smart and clean with enough contrast to be legible on a bright day on the water. One way we did this was by testing the designs and color palette through polarized sunglasses, a staple in the boating community.
