Senior UI/UX Designer

May 2016 – Present

After years of learning the intricacies of commercial UI design and development at a corporate level, I decided to venture into the world of startups in order to learn how things work on the ground level.  Utilizing my years of multidisciplinary design experience, I helped Qonceptual and it’s clients get a head start on the market with high quality UI/UX design, branding, and creative consulting.

– Designed and stylized analytics dashboards for a major Fortune 500 company.

– Designed and developed custom Wordpress Themes for multiple startups.

– Consulted the Senior Team on design direction, marketing, and all creative matters.

– Utilized years of UI/UX experience to create layouts and clickable prototypes of mobile applications for multiple platforms

– Created animated motion graphics for mobile mockups and company logos.

– Worked closely with and assisted the software engineers by styling and developing layouts using HTML, CSS, and JS and using GitHub, and JIRA for project management.

– Oversaw the design products from concept, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and finally production.

– Oversaw the branding of multiple companies, as well as the rebranding of Qonceptual.

“I’ve known Matt Brooks since 2003. He was President of the Circle K Collegiate Service Organization when I joined. He is, by far, the most creative, intelligent, and artistic person I’ve ever met. His ability to conceptualize an idea and transfer it to any medium is amazing, and I’ve always admired him for that. His portfolio speaks for itself. I’ve always known him to be honest and hardworking. I’ve never known him to shy away from a challenge. He has no problem adapting new skills to make himself a more well rounded and productive individual. From sketching to painting, graphic design to web design, video editing, and much more, you will be hard-pressed to find an individual with more creativity and work ethic that Matt Brooks.”
